According to the manufacturer’s literature, “The First 21.7 is the total embodiment of Bénéteau's technological know-how: buoyancy foam sections throughout the hull to make it unsinkable, structural inner mouldings, pivoting cast iron keel, injection moulded deck (for greater strength among other benefits). The First 21.7 is a small high-performance cruiser that is safe and family-oriented with berths. She has the added benefit of being trailerable, so will not only take you far, but follow you everywhere as well!” * Never used by current owner ... and Ai says - This "pocket-rocket" cruiser-racer boasts an enviable level of equipment and a roomy interior : a cruiser in a class of her own.

The Catalina 350 features deep coamings and seats long enough for sleeping highlight the cockpit. Wide weather decks and inboard shrouds make for secure passages. A divided anchor locker has double rollers and electric windlass. Sail controls are led aft on the cabin top to large winches. The powerful, yet easily managed rig includes ball-bearing blocks. Electric halyard and mainsail winches, furling boom or mast are also available. The versatile accommodations include settees that will serve as sea berths. Private cabins, separate stall shower, generous tankage, large battery banks and big lockers give the 350 the capacity for comfortable cruising. Upgraded electronics, new canvas, new gel cells a few years ago, light usage, has only been weekended on a couple of times, mostly a day sailer. FIN KEEL! She holds her own extremely well, we sailed her from Portland in 20 knots winds without trouble, extremely well handling. Very clean boat, we are the second owners, and we installed the salon table which was still in the plastic! Low hours on motor (it is a sailboat, lol) Again, everything is light use, she is a nice vessel. Life changes are taking us in another direction away from the water. All electronics are upgraded, but the auto pilot is not installed, I just never got around to it, it is all there and ready to be installed(electronics aare installed, need ram piston installed on tiller shaft). Lots to say about it, so I will keep updating this as I think of stuff....I have a copy of the survey from when we purchased her in 2020 from the original owners. Give me a shout and we can talk if this is the boat you are looking for. In mast furling, 6'7" of headroom in cabin, leatherette seating, full shower, upgraded stereo, helm controls for everything, helm vhf radio, tv, stainless appliances, walk thru hull.....she is a real beauty for sure. Sails were washed and reconditioned last year. Bottom paint done yearly as needed, prop speed on prop....all thru hulls mar lubed and maintained yearly, engine kept up and full spare kit on board. Full set of auto inflating life vests included. Flare set on board, as well as life rings. Full custom canvas cover also for winter storage.

2005 Catalina 350 Spacious Cruiser with Modern Comforts The Catalina 350 has earned a strong reputation as one of Catalina’s most comfortable and capable cruising sailboats in the 35-foot class. Designed for cruising couples and small families, the 350 is admired for its generous interior volume, excellent headroom, wide beam carried aft, and thoughtful layout that maximizes livability without compromising sailing performance. This 2005 example features the preferred Universal M-35B diesel, two-cabin layout, and well-appointed galley, along with ample fresh water, storage, and systems designed for extended cruising or weekends on the water. Accommodations The two-cabin, one-head layout delivers comfort and privacy for owners and guests alike. Forward is a spacious V-berth with storage lockers, overhead hatch, and natural ventilation. Aft is a private cabin with a large double berth, hanging locker, and excellent use of space. The salon is bright and inviting with a U-shaped dinette to starboard (convertible to a berth) and a settee to port. The well-equipped galley is located to port near the companionway and features a double stainless sink, refrigeration, propane stove with oven, and ample counter and cabinet storage. Includes a marine toilet, vanity, and shower. The 350 is known for high interior headroom (approx. 6’4”), abundant natural light, thoughtful ventilation, and storage that supports longer cruising plans without feeling crowded. Mechanical & Systems Powered by the Universal M-35B freshwater-cooled diesel, the Catalina 350 cruises comfortably around 5.8–6.3 knots with fuel-efficient operation and can approach hull speed when conditions allow. Engine access is excellent for maintenance, and the propulsion system features a marine transmission and 3-blade fixed prop. A 39-gallon diesel tank and fuel filtration provide reliable motoring range for passagemaking, ICW transits, or local cruising. Fresh water capacity is approximately 88 gallons in two tanks, with a pressure water system and hot water heater. The boat is equipped with a ~25-gallon holding tank with deck pump-out. Additional systems include a 12-volt electrical system, shore power with AC distribution, battery banks, bilge pumps, propane locker, refrigeration, and safety equipment. Deck, Rig, & Sail Handling The Catalina 350 carries a modern masthead sloop rig with control lines led aft, deck organizers, and self-tailing winches to simplify single- or short-handed sailing. Wide side decks and molded non-skid enhance safety when moving fore and aft. The boom, traveler, and sheet arrangement strike a balance between performance and convenience. Ground tackle includes bow locker storage and windlass readiness for anchoring ease. The cockpit is spacious with wheel steering, pedestal instrumentation, and access to the swim platform and transom. Performance With its wider beam and generous displacement, the Catalina 350 maintains excellent stability and comfort underway. Under power, the Universal diesel offers efficient cruising with typical fuel burns around 0.6 gph at moderate RPM. Under sail, the boat performs well on a beam reach and close reach, delivering practical speeds for coastal cruising and inshore passages. The theoretical hull speed is approximately 7.1 knots, and the boat can comfortably maintain cruising speeds suitable for the ICW, island hopping, or weekend excursions.
