This is a boat that neatly splits the difference between luxury family cruiser and capable sportfisherman, a claim often made by boat manufacturers but seldom really attained. With her tall windshield, integrated hardtop and distinctive reverse transom, the 3000 Open strikes many as being larger than 30 feet. A wide 12'6" beam results in a big cockpit with two in-sole fish/storage boxes, foldaway transom seat, fresh and raw water washdowns, and transom bait prep station. Like most express boats of this type, the bridge deck lifts electrically for engine access.
