Only Epoxy was used throughout the whole build. The use of each material was chosen as the strongest material for that purpose.  All through-hull and deck fittings are predrilled over size then filled with epoxy, then redrilled to size and filled with sikaflex to avoid penetration of water.All portholes and hatches are made from fibreglass moulds and fibreglassed into Klegicell and Nydaplast. All through-doorways in  bulkheads and frames are reinforced with a thick core of unidirectional fibreglass.On the bottom of the hull are extra layers of double bias fibreglass with a 4 metre x 50 mm mini keel with stainless steel shoe for sitting aground.
