Beschreibung
The 1978 Marine Trader 40 Europa (often called 40 Sedan) is a very confortable cruiser designed to prioratize seaworthiness for long distance cruising. Overbuilt fiberglass construction with plenty of teak and mahogany for luxury. It is fuel-efficient, comfortable and spacous accommodations for people pursuing the cruising lifestyle. Traditional full-displacement hull for maximum stability and exceptional amenities for luiveaboard or cruising.
Accommodations
Main stateroom with a queen bed for two. Bow v-berth for two people. The two staterooms have an ample hanging closte and plenty of storage and drtawers for long range confort. Additional sleeping berth in living area for three.
Each area, two staterooms and living, has it's television.
A large bathroom with a large house model sink, a walk in shower with bench and toilet makes it feeling at home
Mechanical Equipment
Generator Onan 8 kw, Bow thruster Vetus 5hp, and a 40 gallon per hour Water Maker.
Also has a 6 battery, 2000 watt inverter system.
Galley Equipment
Two compact refrigerator / freezers, 3 range, bar with ice maker, a Galley Made 4 burner cook top and oven, large sink with plenty of storage area. Also equiped with a Slandale washer and dryer.
Deck and Hull Equipment
Equipped with Lowrance Delta 55 pound and 35 pound anchors. Also a Danforth and a Fortress anchor. A windlass chain / rope facilitate the deployment of the anchors.
Navigation Systems
Thedre are two helm stations, main cabin and on the bridge. Both stations has Garmin Chart Plotters, VHF radios and full instrumentation
Additional Equipment
The engine room was totally remodeled and refit in 2002 to modernize, reinforce and accomodate the new John Deere Engines.
Also the Bridge Deck was reinforced and rebuilt.
