It is equipped with a dedicated surf system and substantial ballast to create a large and clean wave.  Key features contributing to its surfing performance: Integrated Surf System: The boat comes with Sanger's "Quickshape" or "Ghost" surf system (GSA surf plates/tabs) which allows users to easily adjust the wave shape and size, and switch from regular to goofy sides on the fly.Substantial Ballast: The 215SX features a triple ballast system, typically with 1,000 lbs in each rear side and 500 lbs in the front, for a total of 2,500 lbs. When filled, this weight helps the hull sit deeper in the water to displace more water and generate a larger wake.Engine Power: It is powered by a reliable Indmar Raptor 400 engine (6.2L) which provides enough power and torque to handle the full ballast and passengers while maintaining optimal surf speed (around 10 mph).Hull Design: The 215 series has a hull design that allows it to effectively surf, wakeboard, and ski, making it a versatile crossover model.User Adjustments: To get the best wave, the recommended setup often involves full ballast and setting the surf tabs to 100%.     Runs great, impeller replaced 2 seasons ago. upolstery on the back seats needs to be replaced. The jack on the trailer needs to be repaired. Sound system works well. Dueal batteries. We have used it to ski, wakeboard, surf and pull toables. Overall, a really good boat that we have enjoyed over the years, kids are out of the house so it is time to do some different things.
