Accommodations and Cabin Features
The 3880 layout makes excellent use of space. As you step into the salon there is a large U shaped dinette to port with two comfortable occasional chairs to starboard.
In the forward section of the salon there is a flat screen TV with DVD player. The boat also has a sat TV antennae.
There is also an icemaker located in the forward section of the salon just before the galley.
The complete galley is just forward of the salon to starboard and features a teak and holly sole floor.
Across from the galley to port is the second stateroom with twin beds. This stateroom has a flat screen TV. There is a hard door for privacy.
Just forward of the guest stateroom is the head with a vacu flush head system. There is also a circular stall shower.
Forward is the master stateroom bed. This stateroom also has a flat screen TV and hard privacy door.
This boat is perfect for a family or a couple who enjoys having another couple weekend with them.

This boat has a bow thruster making it convenient to dock in all conditions.
The bridge is conveniently accessed via molded steps from the cockpit.
It is obvious the bridge is always covered via either a bridge storage cover or bimini top with enclosure. The bridge vinyls are in very good condition.
There are two helm seats with a large L shaped bench.

Engines, Electrical and Mechanical
This boat has been on Lake Norman since new and that fact is very apparent when you see the engines and engine room. The engine room is neat and tidy with no apparent rust issues.
The Kohler generator has a sound shield with 274 hours as of 11-27-18.
Twin 8.1L MerCruiser HO (high output) engines are rated at 420 hp. Even though the boat is on fresh water the engines have fresh water cooling. Engine hours are below 300.
Even though the engine and generator hours are low they have been ran on a weekly basis for the past three plus years.
Shore power is provided via twin 30 amp. This is a rare boat that has cablemaster reels for the shore cords. (This feature is normally found on boats with 50 amp shore power).
The engines and gear are protected by two engine room bilge heaters professionally installed.

The Regal Commodore 3880 has an innovative sedan bridge design that uses the full breadth of its 13-foot beam belowdecks. This provides six feet, five inches of headroom throughout the entire salon and creates not just the appearance of but the actual interior space of a yacht of substantially larger size.
The helm features a tilt stainless steel steering wheel, aluminum dash panel, and easy-to-access switches and gauges. A Raymarine depth finder GPS / Chartplotter and VHF are standard. The bridge is accessed via extra wide, molded-in fiberglass steps, made safer with a stainless steel handrail.
The entire cabin area is very spacious and comfortable. The master bed is located forward with a sliding hardwood privacy door. Master bed is an island style queen bed featuring an inner spring mattress. There are drawers below the mattress with a flat screen TV.
The mid cabin has its own privacy door and features two twin berths that convert to a queen with a centered padded insert. This is a great layout for two couples or families.
The head features a Corian vanity, mirrored overhead cabinetry, a standup circular shower stall with swivel door, and optional vacu flush head. The galley features Corian countertops with a hidden two-burner stove, refrigerator/ freezer, a coffee maker, and a microwave.
The dinette and salon are complemented by two overstuffed barrel chairs and an entertainment center featuring a 20-inch TV / VCR. An extra-wide stairway provides access from the cabin to the cockpit. The beautiful wrap-around dinette features a hi-lo table with Corian trim. The table drops to convert the dinette to a queen-size berth.
