Horizon Yacht Sales is proud to present Loisaba a 2007 Fairline Targa 52 GT designed by Bernard Olesinski and built by Fairline.
The Fairline Targa 52 Gran Turismo is possibly the ultimate sportsboat for the BVI. Loisaba is a sophisticated and purposeful beauty. Delivering a top speed of over 40mph, combined with waterline length and the famous Olesinki designed Deep V hull that handles Caribbean chop with ease, you can be at your favourite bay in under an hour from Tortola, even if it is Setting Point, Anegada.
Andrew Thompson, Director of Horizon, has spent some time aboard and can attest to the sea kindliness, comfort and pace of the Targa 52: “ Loisaba is the perfect boat for fast day trips or weekend getaways. She is incredibly comfortable under way and really easy to handle with just two aboard. With very low hours on her twin D12-800 EVC Volvos, Loisaba will give years of enjoyment to her next owners
With bow and stern thrusters, and twin engines, Loisaba turns on a dime, and is easily docked double handed. This boat has been owned for five years by a couple who have spared no expense maintaining her to A1 condition. All systems are professionally maintained and there is a full-service history.
Boarding at the stern, there is teak swim platform, with steps into the cockpit area, passing between the expansive sun lounger on port, and a transom shower to starboard. A storage locker for lines or snorkel gear adjoins excellent access to the engine room and forward of this is a Plancha griddle – great for searing that fresh catch, a sink with running water, as well as a front-loading fridge and a top loading storage locker. The dinghy garage, which is located below the sun lounge area, has electric rams to open the whole starboard side of the transom – very 007. It is a superb feature, enabling you to have your 9ft RIB, with 10Hp Outboard along, without having to tow it, or store it on Davits or the foredeck. (The tender is under 2 years old and is included). The tender is easily launched and retrieved as it asists on rollers and there is an electric motor to winch the dinghy back aboard.
The Targa roof means you have full shade when you want it, and simply press the button to slide the roof back when you want the sun…or the stars. The helm position affords excellent all-round visibility, and the large windscreen is kept clean with windscreen wipers in choppy conditions. The Cockpit comfortably seats 12, and that’s before you make use of the expansive sun lounger aft, or the sun pad on the bow. A full array of Raymarine electronics including a recently upgraded large 12” Raymarine Hybrid touch screen chartplotter is ergonomically mounted on the dash. Below decks, Loisaba has cherry joinery, unmarked newly installed teak and holly cabin sole, 2 double cabins aft, and the owner’s stateroom forward. There is a generous head and shower. A fully equipped galley and full-size fridge and freezer makes cooking aboard a joy. A 13 KVA Onan generator and 37,000 BTU air conditioning throughout means the climate is always convivial aboard.
Loisaba is a 2007 model, but with a full yard refit back in the UK in 2018, this boat combines incredible value for money and superb condition and reliability. This is a boat that you can own for several years and sell with a very small depreciation factory.
If you are looking for a fast weekender, that you can handle as a couple, but with space to bring your friends along in luxury……that you can live aboard for a week or more, look no further!
