Cabo Rico 38

Designed by William Crealock, the Cabo Rico 38 is recognized and respected as one of the pre-eminent offshore cruisers.  A secure cockpit, high bulwarks, a cutter rig, and a flared bow provide a safe and secure haven crossing any sea, but the hull design is what makes the Cabo a joy to cruise in. Long overhangs and a wine glass hull profile eliminate any pounding and soften the abrupt motion that becomes so exhausting on offshore passages.  

Down below, hand crafted teak joiner work and an attention to detail provide a warm, secure haven for the cruiser.

Sea Byrd has the desirable "B" Plan layout.  It features a side entry double berth forward, the head has a seperate shower compartment. Following aft is a salon with drop down table. Aft o port is the U shaped galley equipped with LP stove with oven, refrigerator, and storage.  To port is nav station with Icom -M710 SSB, Standard Horizon Matrix AIS GX2100 VHF. Garmin MFD w/radar and Brooks and Gatehouse gauges in cockpit.  There is ample storage throughout the boat.

Sea Byrd is powered by a 48 hp Universal diesel.  Barient two speed primary, secondary, halyard and mainsheet winches. Sails are good condition, Mast front whisker pole.
