Construction

GRP hull with Balsa sandwich construction decks.

Tiller steering with teak trim cockpit seats and handrails. Moulded nonslip decks and twin guard rails connect the stainless steel push-pit and pull-pit provide security while moving around the comfortably wide side decks. 

Engines

Powered by a 20hp Volvo MD 20/20 inboard diesel engine driving a 3 bladed folding bronze propeller fitted in 2015.

The twin battery system is charged via engine, solar panel and shore power with battery charger.

Sails and Rigging

Fitted with a slightly taller than standard masthead rig with alloy twin spreader mast and spars the stainless rigging was replaced in 2003.

The boat has a battened mainsail with lazy jack bag for ease of reefing and sail storage. Roller reefing genoa with Furlex 200s furling system. All lines are led aft to the cockpit for ease of sail management.

Accommodation and layout

The 32 Classic provides a good level of accommodation for 6 people in 2 cabins plus saloon berths. The cockpit is covered by a full enclosure which extends the comfortable use of the boat throughout the year.

Removing the companionway steps gives access to the engine compartment. In the main saloon, to port is an L shaped galley with gas oven, hob and grill,  a range of storage, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water.

Behind the galley is access to the generous aft cabin with double berth and storage cupboard. there is additional access to the engine from within the cabin. To port is the chart table, navigation and electrical panel, heater controls and bluetooth stereo. Behind is access to the heads. The toilet has a holding tank for lake usage. There is a shower and hand basin with storage under.

The main saloon has two large and comfortable settee / single berths either side of the folding central table. The saloon feels inviting and light due to the mix of white mouldings and warm coloured wood finish and 6'2'' headroom. An Eberspacher heating system keeps things cosy when the weather turns. 

The fore-cabin provides the final 2 good sized berths and more storage. A hatch overhead provides light and ventilation.
