Beschreibung

This is the only Swan 56 Custom ever build. There will never be another 56 like Latona. The owners brief to design, build and the fastest, strongest engineered 56 at Nautor Swan to race/cruising worldwide without consideration of cost to accomplish the brief. Under German Frers, SP Systems and Swan she exceeded what the owner wanted. At a cost of nearly twice that of a standard 56, here is a work of art by a wide margin the most beautiful yacht.

Her hull, deck, internal structure was engineered by SP Systems to be the strongest lightest using composites, carbon where needed for more strength. Interior is totally custom cored to save weight and gorgeous with owners cabin aft with entrance. Her larger sail plan than standard along with major upgrades in 2010, new T design keel, new designed carbon rudder, new lighter stronger carbon spar to increase stability major increase in performance and rating. Any sailor would be thrilled to own her.

Accommodation

GUEST CABINS:

The two (2) guest cabins have upper & lower berths (removable upper berths) with lockers outboard. The upper berths in the guest cabins are installed with block & tackle for offshore adjustment when heeled with webbing installed on the underside. Removable bulkhead on centerline between the two (2) forward cabins with custom cloth storage covers for bulkhead.

MAIN SALOON:

There are custom cushions with LAPUAN NAHKA 0112 leather upholstery in the saloon, settee and dressing stool in the aft cabin and nav. seat; SUNBREUA Navy pad padded cover for the saloon table. The upholstery for the mattresses in the aft and forward cabins is ESPE KINO No. 15 with ORIENT OCCIDENT BENNY H, Nature, and curtains at the side windows.

The crew covers for the cushions and berths is SUN0RELLA 5439, Dark Blue as well as the lee cloths for all berths, pipecots in the saloon, and settees on the starboard side of the saloon.

There is a glass locker on the front bulkhead in the saloon. The dining table is divided into two (2) halves and is removable. A compass rose is inlaid in the middle of the table top. A lockable checkers/backgammon table is between the chairs on the port side (in lieu of the standard settee); both the table and chairs are removable.

An insert for the removable bar locker can be used as a berth mattress is supplied. Modified sofa and lockers are at the starboard side of the saloon.

There is a removable Dark Blue pilot berth on the port and starboard side in the saloon with block tackle.

GALLEY:

The countertops in the galley are White CORIAN.

NAVIGATION STATION:

There is a shelf outboard of the navigation seat with, a locker for the computer printer under. A teak shelf/holder is located inboard for two (2) B&G displays; instrument panels are on hinges and are lockable with PRIMO locks. A restraining arm on the port side of the seat provides lee support when heeled.

AFT CABIN:

There is a louvered hanging locker door in the aft cabin with a swing-out stool if front of the vanity. A stainless steel removable ladder with angled footsteps with tread master insert. A magnifying mirror/light is located in the dressing table with lights around the mirror and there are small compartments in a storage tray; dressing mirror on front bulkhead is one-half height with teak frame; tie-rod Integrated with mirror.
