The Mark II Catalina 36 is built with a moderate displacement hull that allows her to tracks surely and performs well in a variety of conditions. The deck is the classic trunk cabin configuration - proven, comfortable and functional.

The cabin accommodations feature warm wood accents and cabinetry with an good selection of opening port lights and overhead hatches allowing natural light to flood the space. There is a well equipped galley is to port with the navigation station opposite.Forward you will find a cozy dinette settee that will convert into a double berth. The fold out dining table will accommodate all of your guests for dinner or a game of cards. Opposite, individual seating on either side of a small convenience table is a perfect nook for coffee or casual dining.
Both tables can be converted to add sleeping accommodation for another 3 guests.
A large, brightly lit head offers a vanity, sink and hand-held shower. There is a separate private entrance for the forward v-berth stateroom.
The v-berth, forward has a comfortable inner spring mattress. Plenty of storage is provided, under the berth in drawers and flip-out bins and to starboard in the hanging locker and cupboard.
The aft stateroom features a large inner spring mattress with plenty of room for two to stretch out in comfort. Storage is provided in hanging locker, drawers and shelving.
The port side galley nook is nicely equipped and feature practical work surfaces and storage.

The hull is rugged, hand-laminated, solid fiberglass; the keel is lead with integrally cast stainless steel bolts. The mast is stepped through the deck on the keel and has inline spreaders and fore and aft lower shrouds, a sturdy arrangement that is easy to tune.
