Considerable emphasis was placed on acoustic insulation to overcome typical metal boat noise in the interior living spaces. Lightweight cored panels helped keep the weight down in the forward cabin and on the overhead throughout the interior. Interior cabinets, galley module and related components were built in the joiner shop then fitted and assembled in place after the metal fabricators and mechanics fitted and installed the engine, jet and major machinery. Local sea trials on Narragansett Bay, and then eventually further offshore around coastal Rhode Island, proved the boat was more than capable. Aluminum sport fish/cruisers may not be common around New England, but this one certainly attracts plenty of attention at the dock and on the water.
