The Nautitech 46 Fly Catamaran is luxuriously appointed with the largest Fly-bridge in her class and impressive performance.
Developed on the back of the 40 and 46 Open, the Nautitech 46 Fly Catamaran uses the same hull, interior and cockpit configuration as the 46 Open, but gives you another level of real estate up top. The Flybridge seats 10 with ease on the upper deck and has a vast amount more space there than any other cat in her class.
The Nautitech 46 Fly features
The 46 Fly is luxuriously appointed throughout, with beautiful light oak joinery, a hard-wearing walnut synthetic veneer cabin sole, and the signature “Open’ concept cockpit, that combines with the saloon, to give a huge, single-level living space. The interior design comes from Stephane Roseo.
The 2022 Nautitech 46 Fly is a popular 4 cabin, 4 head layout. Each hull has two double cabins, two heads and showers, and an entirely separate shower cubicle, enabling you to keep the heads as ‘dry’ areas.
The recently redesigned Mark 2 version has brought the following improvements to the already superb design:
New outside look with a dual-colour roof
Double hull portholes with black frame
Lowered boom & extended mast
New davits system for easier tender manoeuvring
Lounge area with 3 table bearings and Cozy wood panelling
Dedicated chart table area
Fully equipped u-galley ensuring ease of access with the aft cockpit
4-cabin version: Private bathroom for each cabin, redesigned head areas with separate toilets
Uniquely, the 2022 Nautitech 46 Fly comes with a roller-furling mainsail with battens and a self-tacking jib makes life simple, and you can add horsepower with a myriad of gennaker and spinnaker options flown off an optional bowsprit. With downwind sails set on continuous furlers, or top-down furlers, setting downwind sails is as easy as rolling out your jib.
Andrew Thompson of Horizon attests “ We hit 16 knots with 25 knots true wind on the delivery up from La Rochelle, France to Southampton, England, whilst drinking tea off Portland Bill. Very civilized!”
