  2. Moxie 61

    Moxie 61

    Ponce Inlet, Florida, Vereinigte Staaten
    2011
    €1.856.960

The Moxie 61 TOSCA was created to bring cruisers what racers have enjoyed for years: fast, safe, no-compromise sailing. With one extra twist: sailing in luxury. TOSCA offers an impeccable pedigree and luxurious appointments in an ultra-light, all-carbon construction. Safe, user-friendly, and featuring ocean-tested solutions, TOSCA reflects VPLP's 25 year history of record-setting designs. With lines that spell speed and elegance, TOSCA is a world-class multihull for all sailors - monohull racers, luxury cruisers, and anyone seeking high performance, comfort, and safety at sea. With numerous performance, bluewater catamarans on offer in today's market, how does one distinguish between another polyester production cat and a Stradivarius. Quality of construction, materials, design features, equipment, volume, amenities? An all carbon-epoxy over core-cell foam construction, TOSCA sails with the best of the very high performance catamarans. She is equipped with a rotating carbon wing mast, all textile standing rigging, carbon dagger-boards and rudders. VPLP developed hull shapes for the Moxie 61 directly from the ORMA 60 class. The mast is placed on the aft salon beam to optimize weight placement and create a large foretriangle for powerful headsails.   The distinctive, beam to beam (TEUG) coach-roof design expands the interior space and headroom. TOSCA has salon, cabin, bathroom volumes and headroom that rival cruising cats from France and Poland in this size range. Huge, tempered glass windows at the front of the salon provide unobstructed views forward.   In 2017-2018, TOSCA underwent an extensive $400K refit including:  New LORIMA carbon rotating wing mast All new standing textile rigging by FUTURE FIBRES New NORTH sails (main, solent and genoa) Two new 80 HP YANMAR engines All new electronics including B&G plotters, radar, wind, log, speed repeaters and transducers New MASTERVOLT Lithium-Ion battery pack  Over the last three years, the yacht has been continuously improved with a priority to comfort and practicality. Helm seats with generous binnacle mounts for plotters and instruments were installed. Folding biminis were placed over the helm seats. Handholds were added around the coachroof and steps were lengthened to facilitate safe movement on deck. A full cockpit enclosure (isenglass) was fitted for all weather protection in the cockpit. Recently, all canvas was replaced including mainsail cover, winch covers. The salon and cockpit upholstery is all new.    An 8KVA generator was added to run large AC consumers: battery chargers and inverters, air-conditioning, water-maker, electric winches. The entire 24V system was refitted with new toggle switch breakers to back-up the digital switches.    The electronics were upgraded with new B&G plotters at each helm and the chart table. New fuel bladders were fitted and the water tanks consolidated. New sail-drives have been purchased and delivered and will be installed at the next haul out. A complete list of upgrades is listed in the attached inventory.  TOSCA is in the water in Ponce Inlet, Florida and we would be delighted to show this truly groundbreaking design to motivated prospects.   Moxie 61 TOSCA was the elapsed and corrected time winner of the ARC Europe 2014. NOT FOR SALE TO US RESIDENTS IN US WATERS.

  3. Hughes 40-46 Tri At the Dock

    Hughes 40-46 Tri

    Ladysmith, British Columbia, Kanada
    2019
    €298.255

This is a rare opportunity for a trimaran sailor.  You've found a custom-built Kurt Hughes designed trimaran (extended to 46' for additional cruising comfort) that has never been sailed.  This trimaran has been carefully constructed from epoxy, foam, cedar strip, and carbon fiber over the course of a 5-year full-time build.  She has an extremely well documented build history.   You can view every stage of her construction.  She has a Kurt Hughes designed rotating carbon fiber wing mast and integral carbon fiber chainplates.  The rig is already in place and supported by Dyneema standing rigging.  All of her running rigging and supporting deck hardware is bedded in place.  The interior has been fitted out with all cabinetry, custom upholstery, 2 queen cabins, a separate head and shower with beautiful fixtures and surfaces.  She's been plumbed and wired.  Her systems are ready-to-go - twin helms, outboard hiking seats, hardtop bimini, 500 watts of solar, 2 generators, ground tackle, electric windlass, shore power, charger. . .  There is even a rough-in for a watermaker should you choose to add one.  The outboards hang in their nacelles ready to propel her off the dock.  The dinghy is even waiting on the tramps.  Unfortunately this trimaran has been poised in suspended animation since her launch in 2019.  Health forces sale.  Won't you introduce her to the world?  She is in the Canadian Gulf Islands at the foot of the Inside Passage upwind and up current of the world's best cruising.  Just add the sails of your choosing (discounted quotes available).  Bring your cruising dreams to life now.  Email Matthew today for complete details and start cruising with speed, comfort, and style aboard a beautiful custom (and essentially new) trimaran.

  4. Catana 581 Owners Version

    Catana 581 Owners Version

    Zante, Griechenland
    2002
    €880.759

NEW ARRIVAL!!! 2002 Catana 581 "BLUE MOON" is returning to the market after the owner has spent 9 beautiful years with her almost all around the world. For those rare catamaran lovers who were not introduced to this model, this Catana's 58 has set and still is a benchmark for all modern performance cruising catamarans. Cruising at speeds between 10-14 knots under sails (she recorded 24 knots if someone needs that information), and 9-11 knots under power with extra low fuel consumption due to her efficient performance hulls makes her a dream for long-distance cruising. She is definitely one of the safest catamarans to be on in rough waters. The hull and deck are fiberglass laminate set in vinylester resin vacuum-bagged over a Divinycell PVC foam core. The hull has an inner skin of Twaron aramid fabric laminated over the core to increase stiffness and impact resistance. The deck joint is bonded then glassed over to form a monocoque structure. The only solid laminate is in areas where hardware is mounted. All furniture components and floor sections are also cored with Divinycell foam; the internal bulkheads–21 in all–are laid up with Nida-Core honeycomb coring. She is a 3 cabin owner's version with a starboard hull dedicated to the owner's private space and an additional skipper's cabin in the starboard hull with fore part access. She comes completely turn-key ready and is currently cruising in Greece. Contact us for her exact location if you'd like to visit her. She comes with a major refit and is fully kitted with an enormous list of brand new equipment.   Let me mention just a few more notable ones: new Yanmar 110hp engines with around 200 engine working hours new 11kw Onan generator new air condition unit a new set of sails Spectra water maker new B&G electronics new Lithium pack of batteries new C-zone digital control and monitoring network new teak deck And the list goes on and on: Vessel Information Flagged: Jaimaca Lien:None Yacht Specifications: Brand:Catana Model:581 Designer: Cristophe Barreau  Year: 2002  Dimensions L Displacement 46,000 lbs max   Engines Engines:2 Yanmar  Engine Model: 4JH110 Engine Hours: 150 Engines HP: 110 Cruising Speed: 9 knots Tanks Fuel: 3x675 liters each Water:2x500 liters Holdings:2x120liters  Interior Layout and Amenities Owner version:Yes How many cabins:3 + Crew Cabin (sleeps 8) Interior finish: Bleached beech with teak trim Salon couch and fabric: Sunbrella Salon table: Custom seats 6 comfortably Head and showers:2 electric fresh water flush and one manual toilet, 2 showers cabin, 1 crew Navigation station: Yes Interior lighting: LED Water maker type and size: Spectra Newport 700 Air conditioning type and total BTU size:Frigomar 60,000btu (new) Hot water heater brand and size:2 Isotemp 50 liter (1 new) Cabin fan type and number:7  Electronics GPS type, model and size: B&G (NEW) Depth sounder model and size: B&G (NEW) Wind speed and direction model and size: 3 B&G H500, 4 Triten T2, (NEW) Autopilot size and brand:B&G T3 hydrolic (NEW) VHF Radio brand and model: B&G(NEW) Single Side Bad Radio model and year: Sidex receiver (not fitted) Radar brand and size and year: B&G Halo 20 (2021) Chart plotter brand and size: 1xB&G 12 Zeus 3S, 2xB&G 9” Zues Compass brand and size: Plastimo 150  Mechanical & Electrical Solar panel type and size of total watts: 5 @ 450 watts Wind Generator type and size: 2 Silent wind 500 watts Generator type and size: Onan 11kva Generator hours:200 Shore power cord length and type:Various 200 meters Charger system type:3 Mastervolt 240 amp total Alternator size and type:2 Mastervolt 130 amp Electrical socket type and number:1 220v, 1 110 2 phase Inverter model and size and year: Mastervolt 220v @2,500w 110v Mass Convi Battery monitor system: CZONE  Straight shaft brand: Stainless, 2 3 bladed Gori 2 speed propellers  Galley Type and size of refrigerator:Frigomar Chest 200 liter Type and size of Freezer:Frigomar Chest 100 liter Sink size and type:1 ½ bowl corian Saltwater pump: Yes Stove and number of burners: Dometic 3 burners Oven size and type: Oven and grill Type of counter tops: Corian  Sails and Rig Mainsail type, size, and age: Crusader fully battened, large roach, traditional 3 reefs new Jib type, size, and age: Crusader Solent, 90% new    Drifter or gennaker type and size:  Genoa Furler type and size: Crusader 200% Mast type and height:Carbon Fiber 87 ft Bowsprit type and length: Aluminum 5 ft  On Deck List all winch sizes and brands: 1 HARKEN 3-speed electric 3 Harken 66 2-speed electric, 5 53 2-speed manual List all deck cleat sizes and brand:10 Big aluminum   Dinghy type, age and size: Zodiac 430 Pro Dinghy engine type and horsepower: Yamaha 40hp Cockpit seating and table: Fold out, seats 8 comfortably Cockpit cushions:Yes BBQ type:Magma Catalina Deck shower type: Hot and cold Plastimo deck shower Bimini design and type: Solid fiberglass 7mx3m Traveler brand and type: German Sheeting Standing rigging size and type and age: Inner forestay solid rod, stainless (7 years) Outer forestay die drawn stainless 19 (5 years) Shrouds Kevlar (5 years) Running rigging type and size and age:All halyards 12m dyneema braid All reef lines 12m dyneema braid Stack pack with lazy jacks:Custom Standard sail cover:Custom Batten car brand and type:Harken Primary anchor brand and size:40k delta mild steel Primary anchor chain and rode:150 meters lewmar 12m chain Secondary anchor brand and size:30k danford Secondary anchor chain and rode:50meters 12m chain, 50m rode Windlass brand and size:Le roi summer BIG (5hp?) 9. Privilege 45 At the Dock 2019

    Privilege 45

    Chester, Maryland, Vereinigte Staaten
    1995
    €101.147 (Reserviert)

New Photos & Video Just Added (August 2022) Catamarans Cost Too Much?  This 45' cat can be yours at a great cash price, but you'll have to bring your A game.  In twenty years as a catamaran broker I've only sold two catamarans (out of more than 300) that were over 40' and under $100k.  This is a unicorn price point.  Those two projects both turned out spectacularly.  The people who bought them had excellent skill, patience, appropriate funds, and the luxury of time.  They turned their chosen projects into their dream boats.  The first of these projects was purchased by the crew of S/V Basik of Onboard Lifestyle/YouTube fame.  Basik is now a floating/cruising/vlogging testament to her owners' skill and perseverance.  She is beautiful and has easily tripled in value.  There are now more than 200 episodes of Onboard Lifestyle that are masterclasses in how to refit your catamaran and cruise successfully.  The second project was a stalled refit, a nice freshly painted shell really, with no interior, no windows, the rig off, the deck hardware all removed, the engines and saildrives out, and the need to be launched asap to make room for a boatyard expansion project.  A soon-to-retire Alaskan fisherman with extensive knowledge and skill bought her and provided ample know-how, problem solving, and a can-do attitude.  He now has one of the nicest cats afloat on the Inside Passage.  I cruise past her and marvel at what she has become.  She almost passes for new even though she is nearly 30 years old. Let's make it 3 unicorns!  This Privilege 45 is a one owner catamaran that has provided joy and life experience to 3 generations of one family.  Unfortunately, she has been left on the hard for 3 years as the Seller's business interests have taken off leaving him no time to tend to her.  She is a project.  Expect to rebuild or replace an engine (the other engine was replaced in 2012 and has approximately 1000 hours).  Expect to repair dings and blisters, apply a barrier coat, and do the bottom.  Expect to re-bed hardware, windows, and repair/refinish fresh water damage from deck and window leaks.  Expect to replace cushions and headliners.  Expect to sort out gremlins in every system from her long stay on the hard.  In short, expect to bring your A game.  I know, it is a lot to expect, but the price is sweet and if you have the skills, perseverance, funds, and time you can have the catamaran of your dreams.  I am a hard-way catamaran aficionado myself.  I've completely restored 53' and 69' catamarans so I know it can be done.  The trials and tribulations are many but the cats pay you back in life experience and joy and you'll know your boat like no other.  This is a hard-way catamaran for the right buyer only.  Don't contact me unless you have the skills, abilities, knowledge, patience, perseverance, and funds to put her back in cruising trim.   But, if you are the right buyer, please Do Contact Me.   I'll share the good, bad, and ugly about this Privilege 45 and you can make her into your dream. ***Photos showing her in the water are 3 or more years old.  Up-to-date interior and deck photos just added***

  10. Simpson 40

    Simpson 40

Bay Shore, New York, Vereinigte Staaten
    1996
    €155.611

Red Beans is just back from a winter in the Bahamas!  This 3 cabin/2 head boat is ready to go cruising again.  Over the past 18 years, the current owner has made several trips on Red Beans from his hometown in NY to Exuma.  He spent many of those years living aboard Red Beans in the Exumas. Since returning to NY the owner has been removing his personal items and making the boat tidy.  Red Beans is ready to start your next adventure!   Red Beans is a great cruising catamaran that offers a balance of live aboard comfort with sailing performance.  An air draft of 57’ allows transit of the ICW, but also enough sail area to power the boat in light winds. The sail wardrobe consists of a new full batten main sail, roller furling head sails (recently reconditioned), stay sail, and a spinnaker.  Two large anchors, a powerful windlass, and lots of chain/rode keep this cat safely anchored in strong blows.  The cockpit is secure, yet comfortable and is an ideal place to keep kids or pets safe while sailing.  There is a new bimini providing plenty of shade.  A BBQ and plenty of seating makes the cockpit a great place to lounge while at anchor.  Rounding out the exterior are secure davits with integrated solar panels and wind generator that hold the RIB with 15hp outboard.     Red Beans interior offers a beautiful combination of natural light, varnished wood, and opening hatches/ports for ventilation.  The bridge deck cabin offers large U shaped seating with ample table space to feed the crew plus guests.  To starboard is a navigation area that provides a large chart table, vhf, and electrical panel.    The port hull has a single cabin aft, galley amidships, master cabin forward, and head in the bow.  Of note is the large stainless food prep area and sink, 3 burner propane cooktop and oven.  The galley is a great space for those who enjoy eating well while living afloat! The starboard hull has a utility room aft that houses the hot water heater, inverter, charger, and space for tool storage. Amidships is a large workspace and plenty of storage for spares.  Forward is a master cabin and head/shower in the bow.    Although not common on this side of the world, Simpson is a highly regarded naval architect from Australia.  Simpson Designs are known to produce practical yet efficient multihulls.  The hulls are constructed via the strip plank method using Durakore, System 3 Epoxy, and 18oz bi-directional fiberglass.  The original owner/builder sold the boat after a trip to the Bahamas and local use to the current owner.  Red Beans has been lovingly cared for over the past 18 years by the current owner.  Putting his baby on the market is weighing heavy on his heart, but grandkids and homes in NY and the Bahamas require his attention.  Don’t miss this special opportunity to sail away on a ready to go cruising cat!   Vessel Information Flagged: USA Lien: None     Yacht Specifications: Brand: Simpson Model: 40 Designer: Simpson Year: 1996 Hull Material: Strip Planked DuraKore, Epoxy, 18oz Biax glass   Dimensions LOA: 39.7'   LWL: 38’ Beam: 23’ Draft: 3’5’’ Bridge Clearance: 58’ Displacement 12,000lb Bridge deck clearance: 18-24''         Engines Engines: Yanmar    Engine Model: 3GM30FC Engine Hours: 2500 (approx.) 11. Catamaran H2X Maxi Day Charter Cat

Catamaran H2X Maxi Day Charter Cat

    Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, Frankreich
    2011
    €1.250.000

This 82' Maxi catamaran was specifically designed and constructed for day charter. She is certified by VERITAS for 170 passengers (including max. 6 crew). Her sheer size, payload capacity and safety equipment put her in a class of her own among day charter cats.   Her hulls are composite construction (fiberglass and epoxy resin over foam core) and her superstructure is aluminum. She was built to very strict VERITAS standards at the H2X  shipyard in La Ciotat, France and is perhaps the largest purpose-built day charter cat in the world. Epoxy construction and longitudinal stringers that run the full length of the hull make for an especially stiff and robust construction. Her very high bridge-deck clearance give her blue-water capability. She features a huge covered space to accommodate a large dance floor, seated dining space for 120 pax, a large outdoor galley/bar with sink, refrigeration, ice maker and high-capacity grill. She has a restaurant-grade kitchen in the port hull including 1.5 cubic meter cold storage capacity, 360 plate/hour dishwasher and crew quarters for six with a complete navigation station. Guest bathrooms are located aft in each hull accessed by stairways. The wheelhouse is forward and protected by a full glass enclosure.  She is powered by twin VOLVO 180 HP turbos located in very large engine rooms. The engines drive shafts with MAXPROP three-blade folding propellers of 30 inch diameter that will drive the boat at 10 knots. Two 17 KVA KOHLER generators (one in each engine room) provide ample power to the large energy requirements which include a "nightclub" level audio-entertainment system.     After her launch in France in 2011, she has operated in the South of France where she very successfully accommodates 14,000 pax in the spring/summer/fall. She was briefly moved to Saint Martin for the 2015 winter season and returned to France. So she is ocean capable.  If you are a professional charter operator with high capacity needs, this cat is the state-of-the-art solution.
