Beschreibung
The 2004 Lagoon 43 Power Catamaran combines navigational efficiency, exceptional interior volume, and the stability only a catamaran can provide. Her 21’ beam creates an expansive salon with panoramic visibility, a galley-up layout, and seamless flow between cockpit and interior living spaces. Large windows flood the salon with natural light, creating an open feel rarely found in monohulls of similar length. Below, staterooms are positioned in separate hulls for privacy, generous storage, and natural ventilation, ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard use.
Twin Volvo 285 HP diesel engines provide efficient cruising speeds with redundancy and maneuverability. A 12 kW Northern Lights generator powers onboard systems, while solar panels supplement electrical needs for greater independence at anchor.
The elevated flybridge offers excellent sightlines for docking and navigation with comfortable seating nearby. The expansive aft cockpit connects easily to wide side decks and a secure foredeck lounge.
Stable underway and at anchor, the Lagoon 43 Power delivers efficiency, comfort, and cruising confidence in a proven multihull design. Koswekan is a Great Loop veteran having finished her Loop in December of 2025.

2004 Lagoon 43 Walk Through
From a floating dock or tender, boarding is easily accomplished via the spacious swim platform. When alongside a fixed dock, access can also be made directly onto the wide side decks. These secure walkways allow safe movement forward along either side of the vessel, leading to the expansive foredeck.
The foredeck features generous seating and a comfortable sunken lounging area, an ideal space for relaxing underway or enjoying a quiet anchorage. The catamaran’s wide beam creates a secure and inviting forward entertaining area rarely found on monohulls in this size range.
Entering from the starboard side deck, you step into the large, fully enclosed aft cockpit. This protected outdoor living space offers excellent flow between the salon and exterior entertaining areas. From here, you have two natural transitions, ascend the companionway to the flybridge helm or enter the spacious salon through the aft doors.
Up the companionway, the flybridge helm provides excellent sightlines for docking, locking, and navigation. This elevated position delivers commanding visibility while maintaining connection with guests seated forward on the bow or gathered in the cockpit below.
Stepping into the salon, you are immediately struck by the openness created by the Lagoon’s wide beam and expansive windows. To starboard is the dedicated lower helm, a highly desirable feature for extended cruising. This fully functional interior helm allows for comfortable operation in inclement weather while maintaining excellent forward visibility. The salon blends comfort and practicality, with easy access to the cockpit aft, the office and berthing spaces. A large L-shaped settee with a expandable hardwood dinette provides ample space for relaxing or dining.
In the starboard hull, the layout is thoughtfully arranged for extended cruising. Aft is the full galley, offering generous counter space and storage. Its position allows the chef to remain connected to both the salon and cockpit while maintaining a dedicated workspace.
Moving forward and down, the utility room is equipped with a washer/dryer combo unit, additional freezer, and storage cabinetry, a significant advantage for long-range cruising or liveaboard life.
All the way forward in the starboard hull is the office. This versatile space functions as a dedicated workspace but can easily convert into a comfortable single berth when additional sleeping accommodations are needed.
In the port hull forward is the guest stateroom, featuring a queen berth and ample storage. Just aft of the stateroom is a private ensuite wet head, providing comfort and privacy for guests.
The owner’s suite spans the full beam of the vessel aft, a standout feature of this design. The centered queen berth creates a true master cabin feel uncommon in vessels of this size. The split head arrangement enhances both privacy and functionality, with the toilet and vanity to port and a separate shower compartment to starboard. This configuration allows two people to use the facilities simultaneously, a thoughtful design element for full-time cruising.
Engine access is integrated into the sole in both the galley and the berthing companionway, providing convenient service points without compromising living space. Generator access is located on the foredeck. This arrangement ensures practical mechanical access while preserving the comfort and livability of the interior.
