North Shore Spirit has been well maintained and upgraded by the owner, ideally suited for the shallow waters of Florida and beyond.  She is perfectly at home cruising the Gulf Coast, the Keys or crossing Florida on the Okeechobee waterway and on to the Bahamas.  The recently upgraded keel raising system will take you through shallows of 2 feet to offshore with a keel depth of 6.5 feet with the ease of a switch.  If you are in the market for a versatile and comfortable coastal cruiser this Seaward 32RK is a must see.

The 32RK combines curvy sheer line with a modern plumb bow with a short bowsprit and a slightly forward raked transom.  There is a swim platform aft that doubles as the mounting position for the outboard rudder.The rudder is designed to be easily lifted.  The electrically operated retracting keel enables you to lower the keel to whatever depth you want, and raise it again when the water starts to get thin.  Lift the keel and rudder and pull up to your favourite sandbar and walk ashore without getting your shorts wet.  Or put the keel down and head offshore with confidence, knowing the ballast is low in a bulb at the tip of the keel.

The innovation of this vessel doesn’t end with the exterior; inside she makes the most of her size offering a comfortable salon, 3 berths(2 dbl 1 sgl), head, full galley, with electric refrigeration, alcohol cooktop, comfortable seating and plenty of storage.  The shower adjacent to the head was converted to storage, but could be reversed by removing shelves.  We found using the swim platform hot/cold shower preferable to the inside shower.

The Seaward 32RK is designed for ease of trailering.  She comes with a triple axle Magic Tilt trailer and a mast raising kit, which adds to the versatility of the vessel.  For launching or hauling all you need is a boat launch and an area to park on while you raise or lower the mast.  You can raise and lower the mast, launch or haul the boat with no boatyard expense, and park in the backyard in the off season.
