This Gemini Legacy 35, Ocelot, is a 2 cabin, 2 head layout that has been meticulously maintained and continuously upgraded by her owners over their four years of ownership. She is comfortable inside and out - at the dock, under sail and at anchor.  Ocelot, is hull number 1162 and a proven family friendly cruising catamaran with a: 34 inch draft that allows the boat to be pulled up right next to a beach or anchored in small, protected coves; a 14 foot beam, which means the boat can be trucked anywhere in the country, hauled out of the water with a standard size travel lift and kept in a standard size slip; has more interior volume than most 40-foot monohulls; fast, level sailing with virtually no heeling - your drink stays on the table and you stay comfortably reclined in your seat.  The fore and side decks of the Gemini Legacy 35 are clean, safe, uncluttered and very easy to use whether you are going forward or just relaxing in the sun or on the bow seats. The profile of the Gemini deck is designed to maximize both form and function. The three levels of the deck; starting with the foredeck and moving up to the cabin top then to the pilot house, all work to create a sleek profile and keep the center of effort low. This low profile not only looks great but also contributes greatly towards the lack of heeling. The rig of the Gemini Legacy 35 has swept back spreaders for strength and safety without all the clutter and additional hardware of a backstay. Eliminating the backstay also allows for a square top mainsail that puts more sail area at the top of the mast. This is where the cleanest, purest wind blows; uninhibited by objects on the water or on the boat itself, so performance is maximized in every condition. Ocelot is equipped with a Doyle stack pack, a full batten mainsail, a 110% roller furling jib, an asymmetrical code zero sail and bowsprit.  All lines lead to the helm for safe and easy sailing. It is noteworthy that the helm chair accommodates 2 people.  The cockpit has a full set of cockpit cushions. Ocelot has a head room of 6'3", a huge queen-sized master stateroom with a spectacular view through panoramic windows, a second stateroom and a salon table that converts to a queen size bed. One head contains a full standing shower and plenty of cabinet storage. The head is an electric and fresh water flush toilet. One head has been brilliantly converted to a pantry for extended cruising and can easily be converted back to it's original design.  The galley is spacious with two refrigerators/freezers, a built-in microwave, two-burner stove with oven and broiler, a two-sided sink with pullout spray faucet, dedicated under counter trash can holder and over 12 feet of stunning Corian counters make the galley of the Legacy 35 worthy of simply being called a kitchen! Ocelot is equipped with 2 10K BTU air conditioning units and 400-watt solar panels. She is powered by two 15 hp Yanmar Diesels with low hours. The navigation electronics were upgraded in 2022 and 2023.  You will rest easy at anchor as this Legacy is equipped with a Lewmar electric anchor windless and Rocna and Fortress anchors. Ocelot conveys with a 10' West Marine RIB 310 rigid floor dinghy (2023) and 5 hp Honda 4-stroke outboard (2022). The bottom is painted with anti-fouling paint in 2023. Proudly made in the United States, this 2013 Gemini Legacy 35 is in excellent condition, nicely upgraded, conveniently located in St. Augustine, Florida and ready to take you sailing into your next adventure. 2005 Gemini Catamaran 105 Mc built by Performance Cruising in Annapolis, MD is in excellent condition with all mechanicals functional. This is a fresh water boat in Lake Champlain moored in Beech Bay, South Hero, Vermont. The boat comes with full cockpit screen and Isinglass enclosure. This boat was refinished from the waterline up (deck and topsides) in 2021 with Quantum 99 two part acrylic with non slip additive used in non skid areas of the deck. The bottom is painted yearly with Pettit eco copper-free ablative paint. Winter storage is full vinyl wrap on the hard at Moorings Marina in Malletts Bay, VT. Four sails; Main (340sf), Genoa (320sf)), Screecher (420sf with factory installed screecher track) and a smaller jib (160sf) created for the Gemini by Vermont Sailing Partners move the boat under sail at approximately half wind speed up to 12 reported knots. All sails adjusted with the benefit of travelers for better trimming. The mainsail has lazy jacks on a stackpack for easier management in stronger winds. All foresails are on furlers with the furling lines managed from the cockpit. Westerbeke 30B 27 hp 3 cylinder engine has approximately 1450 hours. Low motor hours due to being used only for docking during the season and occasional low wind runs back home. The outdrive boot has been recently replaced. The diesel fuel is treated for water, ETOH, and growth regularly. Both diesel tanks removed and power washed every 5-7 years. The motor and rudders tilt up to allow an 18” draft (28” with motor down) for pulling right up to beaches and well inside most boats in crowded anchorages. The asymmetric foam cored fiberglass centerboards in each hull can be adjusted down to a 5.5 foot draft (4 feet below the hull). The steering cables were replaced in 2018 and are lubricated only with liquid lubrication. There is a 100 w solar panel mounted on the rear davits that keeps the 3 bank batteries charged. A 3 seat Portaboat 10 dinghy can be folded and stored on deck or on the davits. A Lehr 2.5 hp propane outboard is used to power the dinghy. This Gemini is currently in the water and sailing and needs nothing more than provisions for cruising weeks at a time.
